Solemn requiem high mass for Charles J. Loxterkamp, 82, was held at SS. Peter and Paul Church in Carroll at 9:30 a.m. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Frank H. Greteman was celebrant; the Rev. Leo Lenz, deacon; the Rev. Henry Meyer.
Dedham, sub deacon: and the Rev. Edmond Adams, master of ceremonies. The Rev. Gerald Wingert. Rolfe, and the Rt. Rev. Msgr. P. T. Lynch were also present in the sanctuary.

Honorary pallbearers were Mort Collison, William Wiedemeier, Albert Reinart, Thomas Gaffney, Frank . Kloser and Jarrles Moran. Serving as active pallbearers were William Hoffman, Joseph Schott, Joseph Meister, Mike Wittrock, William Schreck and Wilbur Bruening.

A Fourth Degree, Knights of Columbus, honor guard was formed at the church and Mt. Olivet Cemetery, the final resting place.
