ARLINGTON -- Raymond Alexander Yuhasz, 75, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012, at his home.

The son of Alexander and Eleanor Yuhasz, he was born June 21, 1937, in Perth Amboy, N.J. He graduated with honors from St. Mary's High School in Perth Amboy. He then furthered his education at Georgetown University. After three years he moved his studies to South Eastern University, Washington, D.C. He and Colleen Mary Vonnahme were married in September 1960. In 1961 he achieved his bachelor's degree and in 1964 gained entrance into the Foreign Service. During his career he traveled to many countries and he was able to oversee the budgeting functions of the embassies where he worked. After retiring in 1990, he and Colleen were able to enjoy their lives to the fullest.

Mr. Yuhasz was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Colleen; his brother-in-law, Richard H. Peterson and wife, Del Rae.

Survivors: He is survived by his son, Keith Raymond Yuhasz and wife, Kimberly, of Arlington; grandchildren, Claudia Celeste and Ian Alexander Yuhasz; brothers-in-law, Lee Vonnahme and wife, Lavonne, of Westside, Iowa, and Marvin Vonnahme, and his wife, Judy, of Campbellsburg, Ind.

Richard H. Peterson, age 66, of Scranton, Iowa, passed away at his home on February 16, 2003. A son of Harry and Mary Theresa (Fagan) Peterson, he was born on January 6, 1937, at Carroll, Iowa. After completing his education in Scranton he began farming with his father. After serving in the Army, he returned home and met Del Rae Vonnahme. They were married on February 4, 1961, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breda, Iowa. The couple lived on the home place south of Scranton for 30 years. They moved to Scranton in 1990, and lived in their present home until his death.

Mr. Peterson still farmed after moving to town and continued to help his son after retirement. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Scranton. He enjoyed reading, growing plants, cooking, working on his home, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Del Rae of Scranton; a son, Craig Peterson and his wife Lois of Scranton; two daughters; Michele (Liechti) Peterson of Hopkins, Missouri; and Stephanie Peterson still at home; five grandchildren: Amber, Aaron, Kyle, Travis, and Garrett; three brothers-in-law; Raymond Yuhasz of Arlington, Texas; Marvin Vonnahme and his wife Judy of Campbellsburg, Indiana; and Lee Vonnahme and his wife LaVonne of Westside, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Harriet Marie, an aunt, Katharine Fagan, and a sister-in-law, Colleen Yuhasz.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 12, at 10:30 a.m. at Okarche with burial in a parish cemetery there.

Mrs. Mueggenborg was born Jan.8, 1908, near Mount Carmel, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Osterholt. She attended Lady of Mount Carmel school. She married Albert Mueggenborg at Mount Carmel Jan 12, 1926. Following their marriage, they moved to Oklahoma. They celebrated their 64th anniversary Jan.12.

Survivors include her husband, Albert, of Okarche, and four children. She had many relatives in the Carroll area including two sisters, Frances Bruning of Carroll and Emma Broich of Mount Carmel.3

Mrs. Mueggenborg died Dec. 27 at Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born June 16, 1919, in Okarche and was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Trinity Church, Altar Society and Busy Bee Home Extension Club, serving as president of both organizations.

She is survived by sons, Tom of Hampton, Va., Larry of Park City, Utah, Mike and Keith, both of Okarche and Dennis of Bartlesville; a daughter, Mary Howard of Yukon; a sister, Virginia Walker of Carrier; a brother, Francis Naberhaus of Okarche; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.2

He was employed at the Okarche Coop as a mechanic until retirement. He was a WWII Army veteran and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Catholic Order of Foresters and the VFW.

Survivors include two sons, Robert F. Mueggenborg and wife Kay and Patrick J. Mueggenborg and wife Kathy, all of Okarche; two daughters, Lena M. Mueggenborg and Joyce A. Mueggenborg, both of the home; one sister, Marcella Eischen of Okarche; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one sister, Bernita Kraus and one brother, Arthur Joseph Mueggenborg.3

She was born November 5, 1930, at Okarche, Oklahoma, the daughter of Mary (Muggenburg) and George Osterholt. She graduated from high school at Okarche.

She and Clarence Kraus were married May 20, 1947, in Okarche, and they were blessed to share nearly sixty years together. Agnes was a butcher at a local grocery store in El Reno, Oklahoma, a homemaker, and a greeter at Wal-Mart. She attended Sacred heart Catholic Church in El Reno.

Preceding her in death were her husband Clarence Kraus and a son Daniel Joseph Kraus.

Surviving family includes her daughter Donna Morris and her husband Bill of Goodland; two grandsons Cameron Morris of Goodland; Chad Bollinger, his wife Andrea, and their daughter Allison Bollinger, all of El Reno, Oklahoma; sister MaryAnn Heinen and her husband Gerald of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; brother LeeRoy Kritenbrink and his wife Bernice of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, all of the Oklahoma City area.

Memorial service and inurnment will be at a later date in the Holy Trinity Cemetery in Okarche, Oklahoma.
